How to Use the Premier League Table Calculator

The table at the top is the real Premier League table, built from every result played so far this season. It updates automatically after each game.

Underneath it are the remaining fixtures, one matchweek at a time. Type a score into each game, or tap Home win, Draw or Away win for a quick prediction. Every time you enter a result, the table recalculates instantly, and the arrows next to each club show how far they have moved from where they sit now.

Use the dropdown to jump to any matchweek, or choose All remaining fixtures to see the whole run-in on one page. Reset clears everything and takes you back to the real table.

Premier League Table Predictor 26/27

This is the 2026/27 edition, built around this season’s fixture list. It starts from the current Premier League table, so every prediction you make builds on the points clubs have actually earned so far, not a blank slate in August.

As the season goes on, real results replace the fixtures you predicted and the remaining games get fewer. Come back after each matchweek and your predictions get sharper, right up to the final day in May.

Premier League Table Predictor

Every fan does the maths in their head anyway. “If we beat Villa and they drop points at Newcastle…” The predictor does it properly. It is the quickest way to see what your club actually needs: how many points it takes to stay up, whether a run of wins could drag you into Europe, or which result on the final day would decide the title.

It is also the best way to settle an argument in the group chat. Fill in your predictions, take a screenshot of the final table and back yourself.

Make Your Own Premier League Table

You do not have to be realistic. Want to see your club go unbeaten for the rest of the season? Fancy sending your rivals down? Fill in whatever scores you like and build the Premier League table you want to see.

If you would rather let chaos decide, hit Randomise and the calculator fills in the remaining fixtures for you. Every click produces a different season, so you can keep going until you get one you like.

Premier League Table Calculator Free

The calculator is completely free to use. There is no sign-up, no account and no limit on how many times you play out the season. Your predictions save on your device, so you can close the page and come back later to pick up where you left off.

Premier League Table Predictor Free

There is nothing to download either. Predict premier league for free and it runs in your browser and works on your phone, tablet or laptop, so you can fill in your predictions on the bus, at half-time or in the pub after the final whistle.

How the Table Is Worked Out

Teams get three points for a win, one for a draw and nothing for a defeat. When clubs finish level on points, the Premier League separates them in this order:

  • Goal difference
  • Goals scored
  • Points won in the matches between the tied clubs
  • Away goals scored in the matches between the tied clubs
  • A play-off at a neutral ground, if they still cannot be split

The calculator follows the same order, so a tight finish in your predicted table plays out exactly as it would in real life. Any official points deductions are already built into the table.

What the Colours Mean

The coloured strip next to each position shows what is at stake. Blue is the Champions League places, orange is the Europa League, green is the Conference League and red is the relegation zone.

European places are not fixed every season. The Premier League can earn an extra Champions League spot through UEFA’s coefficient rankings, and the FA Cup and League Cup winners take a European place of their own, which can push the qualifying positions further down the table. The colours show the standard places, so keep an eye on the cup competitions too.

FAQs

How does the Premier League table calculator work?

It starts from the real Premier League table and adds your predicted scores for the remaining fixtures. Every prediction is applied instantly, with points, goal difference and goals scored all recalculated, so you can see the final table you are predicting.

How do I predict the rest of the Premier League season?

Pick a matchweek from the dropdown and enter a score for each game, or tap Home win, Draw or Away win. Work through each matchweek, or choose All remaining fixtures to fill in the whole run-in at once.

Is the Premier League table calculator updated after every game?

Yes. Real results are pulled in automatically shortly after each match finishes, so the starting table and the list of remaining fixtures are always current.

How are points calculated in the Premier League?

A win is worth three points, a draw one point and a defeat nothing. Points deductions handed out by the Premier League are taken off a club’s total.

How is goal difference calculated in the Premier League table?

Goal difference is the number of goals a team has scored minus the number of goals it has conceded. A side that has scored 50 and conceded 30 has a goal difference of plus 20.

What happens if two teams finish level on points?

They are separated by goal difference, then goals scored, then the points won in the games between them, then away goals scored in those games. If they are still level after all of that, the Premier League orders a play-off at a neutral ground.

Can I add points deductions to the table calculator?

Official points deductions are already included in the table. You cannot add your own yet, but if a deduction is confirmed during the season, it is added to the calculator.

How many points do you need to stay up in the Premier League?

It changes every season, but the old target of 40 points is usually more than enough. West Brom survived on just 34 points in 2004/05, while West Ham went down with 42 in 2002/03, the highest total ever relegated in a 38-game season.

How many points does it take to win the Premier League?

Most title winners finish in the high 80s or above. Manchester City hold the record with 100 points in 2017/18, while the lowest winning total in a 38-game season is Manchester United’s 75 in 1996/97.
